What should I wear?

You'll be given privacy to undress to your level of comfort and lie beneath clean towels throughout your treatment. Only the area being worked on will be uncovered, ensuring your comfort, dignity and privacy at all times.

Do I need to bring anything?

No. Everything needed for your treatment is provided, including fresh towels and massage oils. Simply arrive a few minutes early, relax, and I'll take care of the rest.

Is Swedish massage painful?

Swedish massage is designed to promote relaxation while easing muscular tension. Pressure can always be adjusted to suit your comfort level, so please let me know if you would like lighter or firmer pressure during your treatment.

How do I book?

You can book by getting in touch via the contact form on this website or by emailing truehandsmassagetherapy@gmail.com. A £10 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment.

What payment methods do you accept?

Bank transfer and cash are accepted. The remaining balance is payable at your appointment after your deposit has been deducted.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to change your appointment. Deposits are non-refundable, but where sufficient notice is given, I will always do my best to transfer your deposit to a new appointment where circumstances allow.

Is massage suitable for everyone?

Massage is suitable for many people, but there are some medical conditions where treatment may not be appropriate or may need to be adapted. Your consultation will help determine whether massage is suitable for you, and in some cases I may recommend seeking advice from your GP or healthcare professional before treatment.

Is your practice inclusive?

Yes. True Hands Massage welcomes women, men and members of the LGBTQ+ community. My aim is to provide a calm, respectful and judgement-free environment where every client feels comfortable, safe and welcome.
